Chipotle Gouda Mushroom Burger
Ingredients:
8oz Ground Chuck Patty
Steak Seasoning
Hamburger Bun
Butter
1 slice Chipotle Gouda Cheese
½ Cup sliced Portobello mushrooms
1 ½ Tsp Cooking Oil of your choosing
Sprinkle of Herb Rub with Thyme, Rosemary, Sage
1 Romaine Leaf
1 Slice of Tomato
1 Whole Jalapeno
Preparation:
- Preheat grill to medium high heat
- Season the burger patty on both sides with steak seasoning
- Butter and toast the bun
- Grill the burger patty almost to desired temperature
- Grill the whole jalapeno
- While the burger is grilling, top with the chipotle gouda cheese and melt
- Heat a sauté pan and add the cooking oil and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are cooked while adding a sprinkle of herb rub and toss. Remove from heat.
- Build your burger with the bottom bun, lettuce, tomato. Place the burger patty on top of the lettuce, tomato and then top the burger with the mushrooms.
- Finish with the top bun and secure the grilled jalapeno to the top of the bun
